Episode 121: In the Cait Sith Village
Judging from the conclusion, Yuuto's feeling was proved
right. The place where Luna took him was indeed the same Cait Sith Village he
had visited before. It was the home village of Ririna and Sanya, the sisters
that were currently working at Yuuto's mansion.
「Oi! Is that Luna!?」
「Since our village's number 1 talented fellow came back,
the ghouls should be terrified!」
It would appear that Luna was quite the celebrity in the
village. As they set foot in the village, a large number of villagers rushed to
welcome them.
「Luna, who's that guy?」
「I brought a skilled adventurer as per the Village Head's
request. Konoe Yuuto-san will help me with the coming battle.」
「You……what now……?」
As soon as Luna finished the introduction, the villagers
began murmuring.
「Is this……the person that single handedly destroyed a
thousand thieves……?」
「I heard that he defeated a legendary dragon with one
punch……」
「Since a reliable hero came, the village is saved!」
It appeared that Yuuto's activities had been embellished
when passed on from villager to villager. They began talking excitedly about
his fake heroic adventures.
「Cou-could it be! Are you……the one who took Ririna out of
the village……?」
The story of the hero who saved that Cait Sith Village had
even reached Luna who lived in Expein. However, Luna wasn't aware that Yuuto
was the hero.
「Ah, Ririna works as the housekeeper of my house.」
「Is that so? It was like that…… You are the person…… to
whom my Ririna……」
He wondered why in contrast to the excited villagers, Luna's
expression was cold.
「I'll take Yuuto san to the village head. I think that we
need to talk in detail of the…… compensation for the request.」
While she appeared calm from her words, Luna's attitude
suggested that she was extremely displeased.
(What did I do to hurt her feelings……?)
Having no clue, a question mark floated above Yuuto's head.
