I thought that you already got the basic japanese down and only using 3rd party software to understand unknown words/kanji...but to think that you don't even know the difference between 'tsu' and 'small tsu' is quite a shock. <br />My suggestion is just keep it simple and use R/Lassen Shigarett/o till official naming made public or C/Shigurlette for the surname. You could use something like Sigurdottor Lassen for now, or Siguretto Lassen and wait to see if there's a joke coming.
